National Honor Society

Membership in the National Honor Society (NHS) is based upon scholarship, leadership, service and good character. To be considered for membership, students must have a minimum academic average of 3.5, which must be maintained for continued membership. NHS’ national constitution details further membership requirements. Students are selected by a faculty council. Each year the NHS presents an award to a junior and senior who have given the most service to NHS. Students who violate school or NHS rules may be dismissed from the organization. For more information, see the NHS advisor or call 708-599-7200, ext. 298.
