Rampage, Reavis’ literary and art magazine, has once again garnered national recognition. Rampage 2015 recently received a First Place award from The American Scholastic Press Association. In addition, two of our magazine’s contributors were specially acknowledged for their submissions.
Laura Monsreal (’15) received an Outstanding Art Award for her charcoal and acrylic drawing titled “Mask.” Nina Ambida (’15) was recognized for her Outstanding Poem titled “Coffee.” These talented students were among only twelve artists and writers who received individual national recognition from the ASPA. Congratulations, Laura and Nina!
Rampage was also honored by the National Council of Teachers of English be receiving a rank of Excellent in its Program to Recognize Excellence in Student Literary Magazines. The Columbia Scholastic Press also announced that Rampage placed in the Gold Medalist category where it scored 988 out of a possible 1000 points.
