Letter from the Superintendent

Dear Reavis Rams:

I know I speak for the entire Reavis Family when I say how unnerved and shaken we all were, along with our great nation, with the horrific events that occurred in Parkland, Florida last Wednesday.  Let us never forget how unfortunate it is that we have to think and plan for these types of events.  There is nothing more important to me, the Board of Education, and the entire Reavis community, than the safety and security of our students and staff.

Turnabout Day

On February 6th, Reavis Senior students traded places with School Administrators and City Officials in the annual Turnabout Day. The students learned what it was like to be a leader in their school and community as they assumed the duties of the respective offices for a  day. Reavis would like to thank everyone for their participation, especially the community officials for the generous spirit and willingness to participate in this annual event.

On Friday, February 2nd, Reavis FCCLA members competed in the Regional Competition at the College of DuPage. They challenged FCCLA members from other schools in Cookie Decorating, Relish Tray, Cake Decorating, Preschool Storytelling, and Fashion Construction.
Congratulations to all of the FCCLA members! They did fantastic! Many of them will be going to State Competition in Springfield, Illionis in April. Wish them good luck!
