If you are serious about going to college, you should take the PSAT. It is a practice test for sophomores and a real test for juniors and reclassed students. The PSAT will provide feedback on your strengths and weaknesses, compare your performance with other college bound students, allow you to compete for scholarships from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, help you prepare for other standardized tests and you will also receive information from colleges. The exam will be offered here at Reavis on Saturday, October 20, 8am-11am. This test is only offered once each year. To register, pick up a form in the guidance office. Turn in your completed form and $25 to the secretaries in guidance by Oct 5th. When you register, you will receive a PSAT bulletin which includes scholarship information and a practice test. See your counselor if you have questions.
