October: Be Someone Who Cares
Reavis students describe caring as "someone who puts others' needs before your own." Reavis students demonstrate caring acts throughout our school and community every day. Recently students visited an animal shelter, donating their time to care for the dogs in need. Our students also report witnessing kind acts. Some examples are when "Someone zipped up my book bag in my class when they noticed it was wide open", "Someone caught me when I fell down the stairs (and hurt themselves a little bit in the process)", and "When staff and students all wore pink Friday, October 4th to show support for breast cancer awareness". What other acts of kindness will be witnessed throughout the rest of the month of October? Pay it forward. Be a RAM who CARES.
