Our Physics and Scientific Research and Application students put their investigative skills on display last Thursday. Over the past two months, student groups created their own unique investigation project. On Thursday, they presented their projects to a group of mentors from the S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) community. The group of mentors included representatives from Argonne National Laboratory, University of Illinois at Chicago, Illinois Institute of Technology, Saint Xavier University, Sahs School, Liberty Junior High School, as well as several engineering and construction experts. We are extremely grateful to these professionals who dedicated their time to this event. The mentors were impressed with students’ creativity as well as their analytical and communication skills. Congratulations to all the students, Mr. Gadomski, Ms. Coyne, Ms. O’Malley and Mr. Hurley on a job well done.
