"What a great weekend to be a RAM! Sunday, September 13th was the 1st Annual Reavis Rams Hustle for Hope 5K Run/1 Mile Walk. We had 298 participants for the 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk and roughly 40 kids for the sprint races. It was a beautiful day that surpassed our expectations in every way. Our Reavis Family really came together to make this day a success. It was awesome to see so many students, staff, alumni, parents and families out on the day of the race. Thank you to everyone who came out to experience the race. We cannot wait until next year!"
Our Foodservice 2 class spent the day volunteering at the Greater Chicago Food Depository. They packed 242 cases, 8,712 pounds, & 2,904 bags of food which will be distributed to shelters and soup kitchens throughout Cook County. They were able to apply the industry standards they have learned in class, while helping out those in the community. It was a great experience for all and I know several of the students plan on returning on their own.

Absenteeism in the first month of school can predict poor attendance patterns throughout the year. It is no surprise that the key to high school begins simply with being here. This is why Reavis is committed to growing the number of students who arrive to school on time, every day. At Reavis, Rams are Responsible.
