Reavis High School Career Day is just a few weeks away. The day is a success because of the fantastic speakers that come and talk with our students. We are looking for guest speakers to share firsthand experiences with our juniors and seniors.
On February 8th 2013, Reavis High School and the Driver Education Department presented a plaque to the Secretary of State Bridgeview Driving Facility. The award was presented to the facility in appreciation for their hard work in providing our community with excellent service over the years. It was a way for Reavis to say Thank You to all of the workers at the Secretary of State Bridgeview Facility!
The varsity boys basketball team continues its quest for a conference championship on Friday night, February 8th against Richards High School. In the current standings, Reavis sits one (1) game ahead of Richards. To say the least, tomorrow is a BIG game in determining the conference champion. Before the varsity and sophomore games against Richards, our 2 feeder schools, Liberty and SAHS, will be playing an 8th grade exhibition game in our main gym. This will be an excellent opportunity for our incoming 8th graders to play like a Ram.
On Saturday, the Varsity team won the SSC Red Conference championship at Oak Lawn High School by narrowly overcoming a deeper, favored Shepard Astros squad. This victory marks the third Varsity championship in school history (2007, 2011, 2013). Good Luck at Sectionals!
