Dear District 220 Families,
It is good to be back in the swing of things! The fall season is upon us and that means there are plenty of opportunities for students and families to get involved. It is extremely rewarding to serve the Burbank/Stickney community as your principal.
Our mission is to educate students so they can be successful and positive contributors to our community. Our academic programs and extracurricular offerings provide students with opportunities that support whole child development. We provide opportunities to join sports teams and clubs, to participate in student government, and to enroll in more than 175 courses that lead to college and career readiness. My vision for Reavis is to be a place where each student can explore academic interests, develop self advocacy skills, and belong.
Our teachers and staff are committed to building positive relationships with our students and families. We strive to make connections with all students because we know that impacts their learning. We believe we all have a collective responsibility towards student success. Our strong commitment to each student will help ensure that all students graduate with plans that enable them to pursue their dreams and goals beyond high school.
Homecoming week is September 16-21. This is a great time for students to get involved. I look forward to a great month in the classrooms, on the athletic fields, and at the activity events.
Better Together,
Julie Schultz
