Dear Families:
School provides students with routine that students crave.Student attendance is a critical component to routine and ensures all students have access to grade level curriculum and resources. Student attendance is a priority at Reavis, and we are committed to working with families to address any barriers that result in interrupted school attendance. Our collaborative teams work closely with families to identify areas of concerns so that we can provide plans for students.
In addition to prioritizing student attendance, we anticipate students may need additional supports during the school day. We have an advisory period built into the schedule that allows students extra time to complete make-up work, retakes, or meet with a teacher. In addition, students can access the math lab, resource center, library, counseling department, food programs, and behavioral health services during the school day. We encourage students to utilize these services as often as needed to meet their academic, emotional, and behavioral goals.
School provides students a safe and caring environment to grow and learn. We are committed to providing personalized, evidence-based interventions for any student. We believe all students can learn and will continue to do our best to promote a climate in which all students thrive.
