January Message

Parents/Guardians:

We are excited to welcome students back to school in the new year. Students will begin registering for the 2022-2023 school year in January and February. Students will meet with counselors to review their choices. Please visit our website to browse course selection descriptions: Course Selection | Reavis High School .

Teachers participated in professional development related to social emotional health with a special presentation by Dr. Hector Montenegro from Solution Tree.  Staff gained a deeper understanding of the unique needs of our EL community while exploring a range of practical best practices for instruction, which focused on inclusivity and getting to know all students.

Faculty also explored the five core competencies within the CASEL model that supports students' social emotional health. What Is the CASEL Framework?

We will host Honors Night for students who earned honor or high honors in the first semester on February 2. Information will be released out of the Principal’s Office in mid-January.

Best of luck to our winter IHSA activities and athletics as you begin preparing for the postseason.

Rams WILL,

Principal Schultz
