Reavis Community:
It is hard to believe we are entering into the final month of the semester. They say time flies when you are having fun. We have made many memories this semester in the areas of athletics and activities, and this month students will encapsulate their academic efforts during final exam week. I encourage all students to prioritize their academic studies this December. When you are in class, ask for help, review your work before turning it in, and put aside the needed time each day for homework or test prep. I encourage you to stay for Ram, attend the final exam cram study night, and attend every day on time, as we are just three weeks away from final exams. Your goal is to accrue all credits so that you are on track for graduation whether in 2020 or 2023. Finals will take place for all grades levels December 18,19, and 20. The final exam schedule is located on our website under calendar, https://www.reavisd220.org/calendar/201912 .
December is also a busy time as we are enveloped by cold weather and the magic of the holidays. It is important to take care of ourselves so that the demands we face does not increase our stress levels. Self-care is a key contributor to each person’s success and comes in many options including: staying hydrated, getting enough sleep, and/or exercising. I encourage our students to plan out their week ahead of time and schedule self-care into their day. These little things can make a big difference in staying healthy and supporting academic goals.
On behalf of our administration, I want to wish all of our faculty, staff, students, and families a safe and relaxing holiday season. Let’s stay positive, work hard, and make it happen these last fifteen days of the semester!
Better Together,
Principal Schultz
